Barber Styling | 1200 Hours

Objective
The goal of this program is to provide the opportunity for students to learn skills to enter the barbering profession, and to create the foundation to sit for the state exam.

This program can instruct students in: barbering practices, state laws, theory, and services.


Cosmetology | 1200 Hours

Objective
The goal of this program is to provide the opportunity for students to learn entry-level cosmetology skills, and to create the foundation to sit for the state exam.

This program can instruct students in: cosmetology practices, state laws, theory, and services.


Facial Specialist | 300 Hours

Objective
To gain information and knowledge to give a facial massage treatment using oils, creams, lotions, or other preparations to properly protect the client from significant damage and to describe chemicals, implements and techniques used in hair removal.

Program Description
The program can instruct students in: skin practices, state laws, theory, and skin services such as hair removal, makeup application, and eyelash application.


Nail Specialist | 300 Hours

Objective
This curriculum and program of study is designed to instruct a student in manicuring, pedicuring, and sculptured nails.

The program can instruct students in: nails, state laws, theory, and sculptured nails.


Massage Therapy

Objective
The Massage Therapy program has two goals: the first is to instruct the student on the technical skills necessary to perform a professional standard Swedish Massage. The second is to introduce the student to the education needed to sit for a national exam, and qualify for a Medical Quality Assurance license from the State of Florida.

Program Description
This program can allow students to learn: instruction in assessment, theory, application of basic Swedish Massage, general anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology, and other related modalities. They can also learn: business, ethics, and legal practices.


Instructor Training | 600 Hours

OBJECTIVE
Cosmetology, Barber/Styling, and Nail Instructor.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program can teach cosmetologists, barbers, stylists, nail technicians, and other beauty specialists to teach their craft in licensed and accredited schools of cosmetology and barbering. Students can learn: cosmetology arts and sciences, teaching principles, student learning styles, professional curriculum development, instructional planning, instructional methods and aids, student counseling, career assistance, test development, and classroom/clinic management.
